Using this table, you can easily determine which frequencies create a certain clicking sound.

---|---|---|---|---|
697Hz | A | 3 | 2 | 1 |
770Hz | B | 6 | 5 | 4 |

How DTMF works?
The abbreviation DTMF stands for - Dual Tone Multi Frequency. By combining two signals of a certain frequency, you can get the necessary sound of pressing a particular button when dialing a number.
For example, a combination of 1209 Hertz and 697 Hertz signals will create the sound of pressing the "1" button. The combination of 1477 Hertz and 641 Hertz signals will create the sound of clicking on the "#" symbol, etc (see the table below).
How to use?
To simulate, just press the desired button on the keyboard. The longer the tap, the longer the alarm will sound. To create your own sequence of clicks, enter the necessary numbers from 0 to 9, as well as the characters "#" and "*" in the appropriate input field. The "-" symbol is used to skip (delay). After that, you can listen to your sequence and download audio in WAV format to your computer or smartphone. Pulse length - determines the duration of the press. Gap length - defines the duration between clicks. You can change these values.
To create continuous tone sounds by combining two frequencies, use our online web application: Dual Tone Generator Web-App. For the laziest, we have created and posted dialing sounds - Download Audio.
